Free Evaluations - HDD Stand Alones and RAIDs
Our free evaluations we have been offering for all single drives and RAID arrays has made a huge difference in customer response. Once a recovery is set up, you can send a drive in to us and we will call you back in 1-3 days to let you know the recoverability of the requested data and what the cost will be. Your customer then has the option to proceed ahead or not. If the client says yes, we will complete the recovery in 3-4 business days. If the client declines, we will ship their drive back to them at our expense -- no charge for our services.

We have now expanded this service where we are offering free evaluations on SSD hard drives and RAIDs. On all PC RAID systems with up to 4 drives and all MAC RAID systems with up to 5 drives.

Insurance Covering Data Recovery
Insurance can often cover the cost of data recovery. For an individual, either homeowners or renters insurance could provide coverage - actually most policies provide some coverage. Coverage may exist by an actual endorsement on their policy or may be able to be extended under "loss of intellectual property", "valuable papers and records" or "electronic media". Two areas to look over would be the liability coverage section and the property/casualty coverage. Please be sure they check with their insurance agent or broker for clarification.
