Robert J. WebbAfter a courageous battle with cancer, Bob passed away peacefully at his home in Sun City, Arizona. Bob was born in Trimble, TN, raised in Gary, Indiana, graduated from Horace Mann High School as well as St. Ambrose College. He was one of seven children born to the late Samuel and Lemma Webb and was the beloved husband of Nancy Webb for over 26 years. Bob will forever be remembered by his children Bobby and Holly Webb; step children and their spouses, Brian and Elvyn Leonard, Ted and Helen Leonard and Todd and Sharon Leonard; treasured grandchildren Tiffany Taylor Leonard, Ethan and Grace Leonard, Tommy Leonard and Ty Leonard; brothers, Sam, Mike, and Steve; sisters, Rhonda, Janet, and Peggy, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Bob excelled in multiple sports, earning a football scholarship to St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa where he achieved All-American status as a quarterback. Bob continued playing football in the NFL (2 seasons with the Green Bay Packers), the AFL (2 seasons with the Oakland Raiders) and multiple other seasons in the Canadian and Semi Pro Leagues (specifically the Chicago Owls).

Additionally, Bob loved coaching the Horace Mann HS Football teams, playing golf, being with his family and having fun with friends. Bob touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Regency Funeral Home, 9850 W. Thunderbird Rd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
