During his time at Fort Drum, Maj. Miller played a season with the Watertown Red and Black semipro football team, where he played linebacker and filled in on special teams.Coach George Ashcraft said Maj. Miller was very sociable during his year on the team, while remaining a tough player willing to put in hard work. “He gave his 110 percent on everything he did,” Mr. Ashcraft said. “You can just tell he’s 110 percent on everything he’s done.”
